Manufacturers of large engines and their components also have to pay increasing attention to the legal requirements for reducing emissions. Even heavy-duty highway engines need to be put to the test in order to provide the required exhaust gas quality in every performance range and to reduce fuel consumption. The International MTZ Conference "Heavy-Duty Engines" will take a practical look at system optimization and component development for compact engines. The legal frame­work for their rapid implemen­tation is a key factor here. 

New engine develop­ments and advance­ments across all segments of the heavy-duty engine market, for both on-road and off-road applications, demonstrate the dynamism of the market. The develop­ment of components and exhaust aftertreat­ment systems is also continuing to advance, increa­singly with the support of AI.
