Automotive Acoustics Conference 2023
Shaping the soundscape of new mobility
7th International ATZ Conference on Vehicle Acoustics | Hybrid Event
11-07-2023 – 12-07-2023 – Zurich, Switzerland or via live stream
Acoustics and NVH are amongst the prime indicators of vehicle quality and refinement. They hence enjoy an increasing focus in automotive research and development, at a time of fundamental changes in powertrain configurations. Vehicle architectures, powertrain systems and design paradigms have been globally challenged in recent years by emissions legislation aimed at promoting energy-efficient vehicles. In the very near future, the same or even higher NVH performance levels will need to be achieved with lightweight structures, downsized and turbocharged engines, or even alternative powertrains. The international Automotive Acoustics Conference provides an essential global forum for the exchange of information.
The international Automotive Acoustics Conference is a biennial global forum for the exchange of information and networking among engineers engaged in further improving the NVH characteristics of passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The principal themes of the conference explore the technological innovations as well as the market and regulatory demands that are driving the state of the art in the automotive industry. Furthermore, the conference caters to the needs of researchers
and developers alike by addressing growing expectations with regard to vehicle performance and sustainability. It also touches upon the particular challenge that developments in one area of the car often also affect its acoustic characteristics –
especially as perceived by the end user.
NVH OF ELECTRIFIED VEHICLES
Sound quality, active sound design and active control
SUSTAINABLE AND LIGHTWEIGHT
Novel sustainable materials & metamaterials
ADVANCED SIMULATION AND
Machine learning and data handling
The Automotive Acoustics Conference is aimed at professionals working in acoustics and NVH at OEMs, component and systems suppliers, engineering consultancy partners, and those conducting research at academic institutions. They are active in different, but complementary, parts of the process chain: development, design, material and component characterization/validation, calculation and simulation, testing and production.

In order to ensure that the ATZlive conferences are safe and successful for all participants, even in times of Corona, we have drawn up a wide-ranging hygiene protection concept and are making detailed arrangements with the event partners.
The hygiene protection concept is based on the SARS-CoV-2 industrial safety standard of the German federal government and on the official requirements, which can vary from state to state.Of course, we will provide sufficient protective measures on site and adhere to a concept for contactless check-in, seating with a safe distance, keeping a distance during breaks and catering, disinfection facilities, etc.
If you would prefer to participate virtually in the event for health reasons or due to travel restrictions, this year we will offer you a live stream with Q&A function, 1:1 video chat with participants and other useful functions in parallel.
We are adapting to the current pandemic situation. If a real meeting at the conference date is not possible, you can experience the entire conference in our virtual conference module.
A trade exhibition of interesting suppliers and service providers rounds off the conference and provides the opportunity to find out about innovations vitually.
